Introducion
PSOC4 <ref>PSOC4 home</ref> is a Cypress system on chip that includes ARM Cortex M0 and a reprogrammable analog/digital peripherals array.
Low Power
According to architecture brief document <ref>Architecture brief pdf</ref> (chapter: ARE YOU AWAKE?) Stop mode consumption is 20 nA, and low-power retention mode is 150 nA
Mouser
- Mouser PSOC4 page <ref>Cypress PSoC®4 ARM® Cortex™-M0 Programmable SoCs</ref> is a good starting point to understand quickly the Technology, the available parts and pricing.
- PSOC 4 PIONEER KIT <ref>ARM EVAL BRD; PSOC 4 PIONEER KIT</ref> ( 905-030PartNo) at 20.63€ is the best choice to start working with PSOC4
Ultrasonic
- Element14 has a simple project <ref>PSoC 4 Pioneer Kit Community Project#038 – Ultrasonic Distance Measurement ELEMENT14 project</ref> using PSOC4. It is great example to understand how to work with PSOC4 and PSOC Creator Software. The used 40 KHz transmiter <ref>*Used Xmiter</ref> and receiver <ref>:Used Receiver </ref> are available at Element14(Farnell)
- The nice diagrams at Cypress application section <ref> Ultrasonic Parking Assistance System For PSOC1</ref> can be used as a good example to create a nice Powerpoint presentation
- Cypress application note AN76530 <ref> AN76530 - PSoC® 1 Automotive Ultrasonic Distance Measurement for Park Assist Systems</ref> Is for PSOC1, not for PSOC4, but it is a very good application note for Automotive Ultrasonic Distance Measurement and helps understand clearly the needed analog blocks. The pdf <ref>http://www.cypress.com/?docID=42341 </ref> is 18 pages with good analysis and readable schematics.
