PCB Tips
From Altium wiki Interactively Routing a Net
- Interactive Route
- L change layer when starting the route
- + or * add via and change to next layer
- - add via and change to previous layer
- 2 add via, no layer change
- / easy fanout
- 7 Cycles through the connections available for routing if the current pad has multiple connections.
- 9 Switches the cursor position from the currently selected pad or track to the target pad or track.
- 1 Toggle look-ahead mode
- Shift A length tuning
- SHIFT + R: Cycle through and select the desired conflict resolution mode
- CTRL and Left Click: Automatic Connection Completion
- Shift W width
- Picking Up the Existing Track Width
- enable the Pickup Track Width from Existing Routes option in the PCB Editor - Interactive Routing page of the Preferences dialog.
- To temporarily inhibit the pickup behavior, hold the SHIFT key as you click to start routing.

Youspice
Cross Selection
Cross Select Mode does not use the Highlight Methods options, its behavior is controlled by the Zoom Precision and the Cross Select Zoom Options in the System - Navigation page of the Preferences dialog. Note that Cross Select Zoom Options were added to Altium Designer in Update 21.
