DIY Reader

I have been using an arduino UNO to decode FDX-B with some success in conjunction with the EM4095 chip tuned for 134.2kHz. 
I purchased a populated board from Elektor, see the article link

If the frequency measured using the
sniffer coil differs significantly from
125 kHz, you can correct the situation
by changing the number of turns of
the coil.


Reader

  • for 125kHz or 134kHz
  • In addition it has read and write FDX-B animal identification tag functionality as described by ISO11784/11785.
