powerBD-3000

ControlBD-7FMC2.png

ControlBD-7FMC2 is CPU board that is pluged to powerBD-3000

Target of the project is to make the eval-boards work ASAP as induction motor driver

Additionally

Create new schematic and pcb cad-file.
Evaluate the Software Tool Chain.

Why

  • Compare with Freescale MC3PHAC solution already tested
  • Test the non isolated (lower cost than isolated) power-stage
  • Have STM solution

Key-points

Fast Data

  • powerBD-3000 is 3KW 3phase driver evaluation board. IGBT driver IC's are not on board
  • ControlBD-7FMC2 includes the ST72 CPU and 3x 600V half bribge IGBT/MOSFET drivers
  • No electrical isolation from load to CPU.
  • Used IGBT's are STM/ STGW20NC60VD/  60A/600V/TO247/ N-CH/ Vce(on)=2.5V @ 15V,20A/  DIGIKEY 497-4357-5-ND/ PRICE $6.47/1, $4.73/100
  • powerBD-3000 part-number is STEVAL-IHM005V1 / Digikey Price $73, 0-stock @ 2011.06.17
  • Idealist is open source IDE uses GCC C and C++ compiler, GDB, openOCD for STM7, but is not updated since some years....
