Microwave Letter Bands

Microwave <ref>Wikipedia, Microwave article</ref> frequency bands are named by a single capital letter. It seems that there are different notations <ref>Frequency letter bands</ref>. Low power, low cost modules are available <ref>PDLUX</ref>for bands:

• C-band 5.8 GHz
• X-band 10.525 GHz
• K-band 24.125 GHz

Bands usage

Focusing on low cost/low-power-consumption range sensing, to be used in embedded battery-powered systems, the only option with acceptable availability is the X-Band (10.525 GHz) modules<ref>X-band radar modules</ref>.
